Our Intellectual Property team has played a key role in some of the most important cases reported in the last few years.
We are constantly involved in many of the day-to-day concerns of the modern business – from brand and name protection, trade mark infringement and passing off, to design protection including copyright and registered design issues. The Intellectual Property Group covers all aspects of intellectual property work.

We advise on the following:

• Representation of applications for patents, utility models, industrial designs and trade marks; their handling during the prosecution; maintenance of their rights such as annuity or renewal.
• name protection issues including the right to use particular business or brand names, copyright protection and infringement of such rights.
• drafting and negotiating the IP and trade mark licensing agreements and related commercial agreements including technology transfer and franchise agreements, as well as manufacture, distribution and supply agreements.
• Preparing a warning letter against the third party's infringement.
